33-40 All taking hands, dance 'hands round' to the left in a circle for 16 steps.

Note: this dance may become progressive by the man dancing to the woman behind his partner on bars 15-16. This is an adaptation of the original English 'Circassian Circle'. It was introduced by staff at the St. Andrews Summer School of The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society to a group of over 200 young musicians attending the annual Suzuki conference who wished to have an insight into Scottish Country dancing. This dance is a simple 40-bar arrangement using some basic steps and formations of Scottish country dancing.
